Day 5 of injections

Injections are going okay. Since I have to mix 6 vials, I am realizing it's turning into quite an ordeal and takes about 20-25 minutes between getting the needles ready and actually doing the injections. I am getting the same side effects as I had last time. I have a mild but constant headache, I am really thirsty, and I sleep a lot. (Maybe I always sleep a lot, but I will blame it on the meds for now.) This is remarkably better than Clomid side effects which were hot flashes, headaches, and becoming emotionally unhinged.

I did get to yoga last night, which I found relaxing. I was able to run 3 miles today, although at an easy pace. I am still wearing my regular jeans. I am appreciating all these things, because I know they will soon change!

I decided take some injection pics:

A look at the needle. It's 1/2 inch 27 gauge.

HCG needle in my upper thigh...I'm merely trying to mask my last steroid cycle, but I am hoping this will help my baseball game.

(For anyone who didn't follow the Manny Ramirez scandal of 2009, then you didn't get this pretty irrelevant reference and you aren't married to a huge baseball fan.)

This is on my belly after the Bravelle. This really hurt tonight, probably because I hit some sort of blood vessel. But no, really, this is super fun.

Tomorrow morning is another monitoring appointment!
