Managing my TSH

A major challenge throughout this process has been managing my thyroid hormone. Because I don't have a thyroid at all, I need to be totally managed through medication. The tricky thing is that the need of thyroid hormone fluctuates with other hormones (like estrogen) so fertility treatments make it even more difficult. Most people have a thyroid that makes this adjustment seamlessly, but I need to constantly have blood levels drawn and adjust my medication accordingly. Today, I got a call that my TSH was 0.2. The goal for my IVF cycle is 0.5-2.5. TSH is inversely proportional to the amount of thyroid hormone, so I am actually a bit high. But, I don't have any symptoms of hyperthyroidism like insomnia or hair loss, so it's okay for now.
I only have 3 more days of birth control and then I will probably have it retested in about 2-3 weeks, making sure it's in range prior to egg retrieval.
The scary thing is if TSH is too out of range, it can definite affect the outcome of the IVF cycle. Hypothyroidism can be a cause of infertility itself, so I will continue to have this tested every few weeks.
