4w3d: HCG doubled!

My HCG went from 479 on Monday to 1,105 today, just about 48 hours later. HCG should have a doubling time of about 48 hours at this stage and mine is about 40 hours, which is great. This means for now, the pregnancy is progressing as it should. What a huge relief!

Here's the plan going forward:

Friday, March 29th - another HCG level, look for it to double again

Week of April 1- 5 week ultrasound. We see how many sacs there are (1? maybe 2?) and make sure they look okay (make sure they are in my uterus and not in my fallopian tube, etc.)

Week of April 8- 6 week ultrasound. We should be able to see a flicker of a heartbeat around this week.

I will continue to get weekly ultrasounds through my fertility doctor until I am about 10 weeks along and then I will make an appointment to see a regular OB. It's a huge step to "graduate" to a regular OB and I didn't make it there last time. Hoping this time we have a healthy little bean in there!

It's not too early to be keeping track, right?  So far, I am feeling good!
